Three Ways Montana Takes Part.

The railroad is privately financed — the Brightline model: equity, tax-exempt bonds, and federal grants. The three trusts are how Montana participates in the mission and shares in what we create.

The Three Trusts

Land Trust

Reverse lease · 70% cash / 30% trust
  • 30% trust contribution over the build
  • 50% of annual interest to contributors for 99 years post-completion
  • Year 99: vote to liquidate or hand to Montana — 25% taxpayer rebate / 25% state / 25% county

"You put in land. You get a stake in what it becomes."

Community Investor Trust

MT residents & property owners · cap $10,000/yr
  • Open to Montana residents and MT property owners
  • 50% of interest supports operations & community programs for the first 10 years
  • After 10 years: up to 50% returned to investors in perpetuity

"Montana money building a Montana thing."

Business Community Trust

MT businesses · cap $100,000/yr
  • Open to MT-registered / HQ'd / domiciled businesses
  • After 5 years: 50% of interest → commuter housing
  • After 99 years: liquidate → buy MT land → donate as state/national park

"Your business helps build the workforce that sustains it."

Run the Numbers

What Would You Get Back?

Put a number in and see — in round figures — what your contribution does over a lifetime, and what the whole program could build. Defaults are a maximum-participation ceiling, not a forecast.
